Butane (C4H10)

1. Butane, also known as n-Butane is of the solution:
Carbon
Hydrogen

2. Butane is a colorless, gaseous Alkane (non-reactive). It is also highly flammable and explosive.

3. It is a present natural gas and is obtained when petroleum is refined.

4. Butane can be easily liquefied and is used in combination in fuel as its low level of reactivity increases safety of fuels. It is also used for fuel in cigarette lighters and portable stoves.

5. Austin Air filters have limited capacity for this particular substance, however the filters will provide a sufficient service under the particular conditions of operation.
