2. Butanone is a colorless liquid with a sharp, mint, or acetone odor. It is highly flammable and is fairly harmful.

3. Butanone is used in paints, glues, and cleaning agents because it can evaporate quickly into the air and dissolve in many substances. Also used for insect (pest) control.
